Ashley Dick
Ash is a Scottish filmmaker working in editing and animating.
She started out animating short films at home, then began mixing animation with live action.
She was commissioned to animate sequences for the CBBC documentary "I Won't Stand For It" which was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award in 2024.
She appeared in and animated on the Screen Scotland documentary "Working differently" which showcases the spectacular talent of neurodiverse people in the screen industry.
She edited and created motion graphics for the short documentary "My Dad and the Volcano" which is nominated for a Scottish Bafta 2025.
She runs her own production company: Cinora, which produces live action and animation.
Her work is deeply inspired by projects like Run Lola Run, Bojack Horseman, The Midnight Gospel and Common Side Effects.
