Black Filmmakers Community Network

BFCN - Intro Text

The Black Filmmakers Community Network (BFCN) is a quarterly event series dedicated to supporting Black filmmakers across Scotland by offering meaningful access to decision-makers, industry leaders, and free professional development workshops.

The network, programmed and delivered by Briana Pegado, Balenji Mwiche and Liz Chege, is designed to help filmmakers grow their creative careers, while also driving meaningful change across the sector. By fostering open dialogue through feedback sessions, roundtables, and direct engagement with industry leaders, the programme will play a key role in advancing diversity and inclusion within the Scottish screen industries.

BFCN - Donation Text

BCFN is made possible thanks to a generous legacy gift from one of our valued Glasgow Film customers. This donation means that we can invest in a number of co-produced initiatives over the next few years that will champion under-represented voices in film and screen.

Leaving a gift in your will can help us continue our mission to provide Cinema For All. To learn more about how you can support our work, please visit www.glasgowfilm.org/support-us or email Lorna.Sinclair@glasgowfilm.org for more information.
