Christine Hartland
Christine Hartland is an independent film producer and the co-founder of My SMASH Media alongside fellow producer Fiona Gillies. Her debut feature WMD (2008) was one of the first UK films to follow a reverse distribution strategy, and she later produced Containment, which secured worldwide distribution.
Christine has received Creative Europe and BFI development funding, is a member of Women in Film & TV and BECTU, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. A graduate of Creative England's Market Trader programme, she continues to advocate for innovative pathways for filmmakers through My SMASH Media.
