David Pope

David Pope is a script consultant and screenwriter working internationally. His consultation projects include Tiger Stripes (Cannes Critics' Week Jury Prize 2023), Take It or Leave It, and Truth or Justice, alongside recent work on Natatorium, Last Sentinel, Splendid Isolation, Magic Mountains, and the Fremantle drama Imperial Spy.

David was creative producer on the feature film The Goat (2023) starring Mira Sorvino, John Savage, and Nelly Karim. He co-founded Stowe Story Labs, serves as the long-standing advisor for Rotterdam Lab at IFFR Pro, and regularly consults for MIDPOINT Institute, BoostNL, the Royal Film Commission Jordan, and programs funded by Screen Scotland and the BFI.

He sits on the Writers' Guild of Great Britain film committee and acts as an external expert for the Council of Europe's Eurimages fund. Recent screenwriting commissions include Tempelhof, Rulin, and Summer of 81, alongside a development slate through advance films and collaborations with Creative Europe, BFI, Screen Scotland, BAFTA, Film London, and many more.
