Diego

Diego Migliorini is a Brazilian queer filmmaker based in Edinburgh, Scotland. His films explore social issues and queer representation, drawing from personal experiences to create fictional narratives. With a degree in International Relations (PUC-SP), he later studied Film on a full scholarship at FAAP-SP. His graduation short, Don't Call Me That (2020), screened at over 30 festivals (including Gramado and Brussels) and won 24 awards. His following film, Lurcher's Stall (2023), funded by the São Paulo Secretary of Culture, premiered at Kinofórum and Festin Lisboa. In 2025, he completed the Kino Eyes MA in Film Directing with an Erasmus scholarship, having shot three new shorts, including the unreleased queer sci-fi They Bend Stars, filmed in Scotland.

Chak Hin Leung is a multi-disciplinary Hong Kong filmmaker based in the Scottish Highlands. His intimate relationship with filmmaking starts with a birthday video that he made for one of his middle school friends and the ability to bring a smile on someone’s face is what motivates him to create wholeheartedly. His filmmaking approach ties in with his intuition and attentive personality where most of his films are documentary based. He is currently exploring the positive effects that the filmmaking process has on the filmmaker, community and audiences.
