Tom Harberd
Tom has been involved in producing over 350 feature films, including Black Mass, Freeheld, Talk to Me, Cargo, War on Everyone, Mary Shelley, The Forgiven, I See You, Tar, Ordinary Love, Calibre, Minamata, Fisherman’s Friends and Pride & Prejudice & Zombies (as well as numerous television series and video games).
From 2013 to 2021, Tom jointly held the positions of Chief Operating Officer at Head Gear Films, which during that period was one of the UK’s most prolific film finance and production companies, and Chief Financial Officer at Bankside Films, a prominent film sales agency representing select feature films to the global market.
Previously, Tom advised the Qatar Foundation on their film and media interests, based in Doha for three years. Before that, he was part of the Film Finance team at BMS Finance in London, where he worked on the financing of films such as Made in Dagenham, Moon, Fish Tank and Adulthood. He also worked as a Producer and Assistant Director on commercials for clients such as Ford, Orange, Vodafone and Boots, as well as music videos and short films.
In 2023 Tom launched Foundry Media, which has helped to produce projects such as Grow, a Sky Original movie, Annemarie Jacir’s Palestine ‘36, and Season 1 of Sherlock & Daughter for the CW Network.
