Overview

Glasgow Film Festival is taking place across 2 Glasgow cinemas this year: Glasgow Film Theatre and Odeon Luxe Cinema at the Quay. Please check which venue your screening is scheduled to be shown in advance, and plan in time to travel between venues.

Please note that GFF26 performances and events are not preceded by adverts and/or trailers.

All performances will start promptly at the advertised time (unless otherwise indicated) with strictly no admittance afterwards. We recommend collecting pre-booked tickets in advance to avoid delays when attending performances.

By Train: Glasgow city centre is served by both Central and Queen Street Stations. Plan your journey by train now.

By Subway: Nearest subway is Cowcaddens. www.spt.co.uk/subway

By Bus: Local bus services stop close to the cinema. www.spt.co.uk. Visit the First Bus website for more information on FirstDay tickets, to view timetables and to use their Journey Planner.

By Bike: Google Maps has introduced a new cycle planner. Click 'get directions' and select the bike to plan your cycling route to GFT. Bike racks are located across the street from GFT.

Car Parking: The closest public parking is the supervised 24 hour multi-storey car park in Cambridge Street. Metered parking is available on Rose Street and Garnethill. There is no disabled parking outside GFT.

Odeon Luxe Cinema, Glasgow Quay

Odeon Luxe Cinema at the Quay is easy to reach from Glasgow Film Theatre. It is located at Springfield Quay on the south bank of the River Clyde, just across from Glasgow city centre, near Paisley Road.

Transport

On Foot: The Odeon Luxe Cinema at the Quay is around a 25-30 minute walk from Glasgow Film Theatre. Head south towards the River Clyde and cross at the pedestrian bridge on Broomielaw. Continue along Paisley Road towards Springfield Quay, where the Odeon Luxe Cinema is clearly signposted.

By Subway: From Cowcaddens Subway Station (a short walk from GFT), travel to Shields Road Subway Station. From there, it's an easy walk north to the Odeon Luxe Cinema at the Quay. For subway routes and times, visit www.spt.co.uk/subway.

By Bus: McGill's service 38 runs every few minutes between Glasgow city centre and Paisley/Johnstone, stopping at Springfield Quay. You can catch the bus from various stops in the city centre and get off close to the Odeon Luxe Cinema at the Quay. Other frequent services also run along Paisley Road. Visit www.spt.co.uk for timetables and route information.

By Bike: Google Maps has introduced a new cycle planner. Click 'get directions' and select the bike to plan your cycling route to Odeon Quay. There are plenty of cycle racks across the Quay complex.

Car Parking: Parking at the Quay is free on weekends and after 6pm on weekdays. If you're coming from the north, leave the M8 at junction 20 and follow signs for West Street and Paisley Road. From the south, leave the M8 at junction 22 and follow the dual carriageway directly towards the Quay. The entrance is well signposted.
