“Long before I was working on the team, I was sat in the audience and soaking up the chance to watch films that I may never have had the chance to see otherwise. As an audience member the festival opened up a whole new world of film and helped me discover a fierce passion for cinema. Glasgow Film Festival always prioritises its audiences and in doing so, has created a welcoming and fun environment for anyone who wishes to dip a toe or dive right in to what we do. I know it may seem daunting if you have never attended before but I really recommend looking through the programme and choosing a film and going from there. I am always around to have a chat about the film you just saw and I love hearing what people think, good or bad! To me, there is a real sense of community at Glasgow Film Festival and I love watching that community grow with each edition.”
