Lauren ClarkeWhy I Love GFF

It’s all about the audience—and Glasgow audiences are something special. They are engaged, sharp-witted, and brimming with good crack. The festival pulses with a community-gathering feel, bringing together locals and industry folks who are up for anything and have a genuine adoration for film. The programme sprawls across the spectrum from early morning free rep screenings where classics flicker to life on the big screen, to carefully curated world cinema showcasing established and emerging voices, to its special events - there truly is something for everyone.
