Gordon Howie

Gordon Howie is an animator and filmmaker based near Glasgow. His recent motion credits include Netflix’s Black Mirror, the BAFTA-winning Brilliant World of Tom Gates for SkyKids, and cinematic game trailers for Supercell and Blizzard. Earlier this year, his debut short film Broomsticks on Broadway completed an award-winning and BAFTA-BIFA qualifying film festival run. He is currently writing his next short film, a dark fairytale horror about recovering from trauma. His work explores themes of identity, expression and emotional duality through charming characters and cinematic worlds - with a wee dash of gothic whimsy.

Chak Hin Leung is a multi-disciplinary Hong Kong filmmaker based in the Scottish Highlands. His intimate relationship with filmmaking starts with a birthday video that he made for one of his middle school friends and the ability to bring a smile on someone’s face is what motivates him to create wholeheartedly. His filmmaking approach ties in with his intuition and attentive personality where most of his films are documentary based. He is currently exploring the positive effects that the filmmaking process has on the filmmaker, community and audiences.
