Megan McRitchie

Megan McRitchie is a Scottish writer and director from Glasgow drawn to stories about resilience, identity, and human connection.

After graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Megan’s graduation film went on to garner festival success, including a nomination for Best Scottish Short at the HB Film Festival. This also led to Megan being chosen as one of 75 filmmakers to watch in 2024 by Women X Film Festival.

Her most recent credits include the experimental poetry film ‘Dog Hair Sticks to Everything,’ which recently screened as part of Hollywood Shorts Festival, and ‘Is There Any Space On the Moon,’ a music video for Girls.Speak.French, which is available to watch on YouTube.
