Megan

Megan McRitchie is a Scottish writer and director from Glasgow drawn to stories about resilience, identity, and human connection.

After graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Megan’s graduation film went on to garner festival success, including a nomination for Best Scottish Short at the HB Film Festival. This also led to Megan being chosen as one of 75 filmmakers to watch in 2024 by Women X Film Festival.

Her most recent credits include the experimental poetry film Dog Hair Sticks to Everything, which recently screened as part of Hollywood Shorts Festival, and Is There Any Space On the Moon, a music video for Girls.Speak.French, which is available to watch on YouTube.

Chak Hin Leung is a multi-disciplinary Hong Kong filmmaker based in the Scottish Highlands. His intimate relationship with filmmaking starts with a birthday video that he made for one of his middle school friends and the ability to bring a smile on someone’s face is what motivates him to create wholeheartedly. His filmmaking approach ties in with his intuition and attentive personality where most of his films are documentary based. He is currently exploring the positive effects that the filmmaking process has on the filmmaker, community and audiences.
