Rossie Stone
In 2016, Rossie Stone founded his own comics company: Dekko Comics Ltd.
Since then, he has developed his own IP and worked on over 150 comic narratives of his own brand as writer, director, character designer, storyboarder, production manager, and more - all while managing the business at the same time.
He has also worked on multiple commissioned comic productions, including for clients such as Dyslexia Scotland, The ADHD Foundation, Glasgow University, Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh University, Derby University, NG Homes, IDLS Group (Ascentis), Biggart & Co, and more. He also co-authored and illustrated a series of books published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers, called "Mission Dyslexia".
Through Dekko Comics, he has won or been nominated for awards such as Young Edge, Scottish Edge, SME Business Awards, The National Diversity Awards, and The Dyslexia Awards.
He trained as an animator, studied at DJCAD and Gobelins Summer School, has made his own short films, and managed art productions of up to 12 freelance artists at a time (as part of his comics business).
